Update: One of our members confirmed that the station is behind a gate and that the hours are: Saturday through Thursday, from 1200PM-800PM and Friday 0745AM-0430PM.
Hawaii County has installed a 2-plug Level 2 station at the Ka’u Gym. Thanks to one of our members, Ron R., PlugShare has added it to its map. It is station 128327.
The station is located at the end of Kamani St in Pahala (the street address listed in Plugshare needs to be updated). The gym is relatively new and does not show on Bing or Google at this time. The red arrow points to the general location of the station.

Has anybody used the Kau charger? I’m having range anxiety about trying it out. Is it working, how do I pay? Any other insights you might have would be much appreciated.

Tom – a Model S owner, and BIEVA member in Ocean View has tested the charger and confirmed operation. It’s a level 2 (bring your adapter). It’s behind a gated area. The hours (when gate is open) are: SAT-THU 12-8PM and FRI 745-430PM?
