The Big Island’s latest Fast Charger is now in service. This one is operated by Greenlots. You will be able to use major credit cards but we recommend getting the Greenlots app for convenience.

BIEVA Advisor Lorn Douglas had the honor of being the first user of this station. Here he is testing the unit with this Kia Soul. He charged for 7 minutes and received 5.22kWh of charge.

The charger is located in the Keaau Shopping Center, in the parking area fronting Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (16-586 Old Volcano Rd P206, Keaau, HI 96749).

The station has CCS Combo and CHAdeMO plugs. See Greenlots FAQ for more information about this station.
