One of our members who is awaiting delivery of the Model X contacted Tesla in Honolulu recently to inquire about the order status (the website references an ‘Early May’ timeframe). It turns out that the website delivery estimate does not take into account the extra transit times for Hawaii orders and the current manufacturing status – the actual delivery will be closer to June-July.

The positive thing (if you’re still waiting for delivery) is that issues that are being uncovered by early adopters are being fixed in each car that is being built. (You’ll also have more time to prepare the nest.) 😉

Additionally, there have been a total of 9 deliveries so far (5 in Oahu and 4 in Maui). There are close to 150 in queue for Hawaii.
